Oh man that means nothing. Don't you know the best deals, at the highest margin with the least amount of risk are to be had "at the steps" and everyone that shows up is handed a PRO badge upon arrival.....

The sarcasm comes from the final paragraph of the opinion on the link about having a chilling effect on 3'rd party bidders.

What I find most interesting is that a judge can make a decision that goes contrary to what a code says and the attorney in the piece says clarification might be necessary. I guess my brain is to simple to find ambiguity in:

the trustee’s sale shall be deemed final upon the acceptance of the last and
highest bid, and shall be deemed perfected as of 8 a.m. on the
actual date of sale if the trustee’s deed is recorded within 15
calendar days after the sale.

Bankruptcy being federal can make it's own rules that go contrary to the civil codes of a specific state?
