Is Equity Skimming a concern when buying a pre foreclosure subject to the existing loan? I know there is an Equity Skimmng disclosure, but I am not sure if the former seller can sue for equity or if there are penalties for acquiring a home for just the loan amount. (even thought that's exactly what a bank does).
