Innovest Resource Management BBB Business Review

Statute of limitations

December 21, 2017 10:30AM

My father passed away in Nov of 2011 with no will/trust recorded. The only asset was the California home he and my Mother owned. He filed a Notice of Intent to Preserve interest with the county recorder in 2010. The home was already in foreclosure upon his death and in May 2013 the lender sold the house. My Mother was 81 years old and had to move out.

Is there a Statute of limitations in place regarding foreclose due process and sale, or can my Mother still look into retaining an attorney and reviewing the case?

Thank you in advance
