Can Bankruptcy wipe out secured liens?

This debt/lien was discharged in Ch 7 Bk years ago.

I've a friend here locally who recorded his Ch 7 Bk docs with the county, then had his home "sold" at Trustee's sale.

The "new owner" filed an Unlawful Detainer and my friend responded by attaching the NOD, NOS, TD and Bk docs, claiming fraud on COT because the debt had already been discharged in the Bk.

The "new owner" defaulted out!
